basal implants are used when conventional implants cannot be placed. We don't recommend basal implants at our center as most of these implants fail to integrate. it is contraindicated to connect an implant crown with natural tooth. how ever some dentist still use basal implants even though they are not approved by various international and national implant associations and councils.
